The Team Leader Operations Is responsible for:

• Delivering the service quality to our customers in oral and written communication.

• Managing the service levels and taking corrective actions where needed.

• Initiating changes and improvements to the way we work to ensure efficiency is optimised.

• Leading a team of 15 operations representatives.

• Ensuring all team members execute their tasks within the framework of policy framework and legal regulations based on materials available. • Building checkpoints to enable corrective actions where required.

• Acting as a role-model and leading by example.

• Conducting the full performance management process including goal setting, coaching sessions and underperformance discussions in line with company objectives.

• Managing conflicts on the floor appropriately.

• Having the managerial courage to take decisions and communicate them appropriately in difficult people situations.

• Reviewing capacity with workforce planning officer, in order to ensure the staffing plan in function of the work load.

• Coaching people on the work floor to improve quality and efficiency.

• Keeping accurate records with regard to any people related to discussions (in cooperation with HR where required)

• Ensuring organisation of planning and controlling adherence to time schedules for people working in shifts.

• Acting as escalation point for demanding customers.

• Organizing on-boarding and training for new-hires.

• Reviewing simple KPI’s on ongoing basis to manage the business in an optimal way.

• Gathering and connecting information.

• Adapting their leadership style with team members based on what will allow the team member to deliver the best results.

• Extracting knowledge and information from others using structured, open questions.

• Providing operational support and guidance/recommendations to internal and external business partners.

• Recruiting new hires with the support of HR to ensure headcount as defined in capacity plan will be available, in function of the work load.

• Perform controls as defined by enterprise risk management.


• you have a very good knowledge of French, Dutch and English and you can easily communicate and switch in the tree languages

• possess a technical knowledge on the execution of specific processes and procedures with one’s own domain and execute a number of multiple tasks under the supervision of a manager

• analyse data, able to objectively treat information, use the available data to choose from different alternatives and to propose improvements

• work solution oriented on own initiative with a minimum level of managerial support

• guide others by giving clear instructions and by tracking and adjusting of their results according to the objectives and available resources by using appropriate people management skills.

• pay attention to the customer’s needs and ensure to fully understand the customer’s needs

• show commitment and perseverance in a dynamic and challenging work environment.

• Demonstrating a high degree of dedication by always striving to do their best and delivering quality.
