Joëlle gets great satisfaction from the variety her job as a management assistant offers her

Joelle has been working as a Management Assistant since 2018

I've now been employed by Bright Plus Outsourcing Solutions for five years, fulfilling the role of management assistant for them. This means I'll be working on a project basis as an all-round support staff member at various Bright Plus clients. So not only is my role's range of duties very varied, but also my place of employment changes regularly, keeping the job always refreshing, exciting and challenging. This also gave me a taste of different sectors: from the logistics department in a seaport company to the administration department at a law firm.

you need to be able to move quickly and be open to many and rapid changes. Flexibility, practical insight and learning agility are thus indispensable skills.

My skills as a management assistant

The finest aspect of my job is, by far, the great variety, but this also provides the greatest challenge. After all, you need to be able to move quickly and be open to many and rapid changes. Flexibility, practical insight and learning agility are thus indispensable skills. For me personally, that feels like quite an enrichment. I feel that I can constantly learn and grow in my job.

My job as a project consultant

What I have to sacrifice a bit for that, is the close bond you can develop with a regular team of colleagues. Fortunately, on the other hand, I get the chance to meet and help many different people, which still fulfils my needs as a people person. And although in practice I have to do the job myself, I also feel well supported by Bright Plus. The range of training and workshops I can attend is vast, and my project supervisor is always there for me with a listening ear and tailored advice.
