Kelly started learning from day one in her job as a customer support executive

Kelly has been working as a customer support executive at BeMVO since 2023

I've only just started work in the organisation, but I've already been able to immerse myself in many different tasks. Generally, as a customer support executive, I resolve issues as soon as we receive a report of fraud in our internal system. Then it's up to me and my colleague to check with which party something went wrong, what exactly went wrong and how we can correct it. In doing so, communication with the various involved parties is key. That service aspect of the job is a big plus for me. I like to be able to act quickly and decisively, actively look for solutions and quickly come up with a clear answer. Informing and communicating that openly and transparently is one of my main strengths.

Good feedback is necessary because the job does require some stress relief. Problems should be analysed efficiently right away and handled as soon as possible.

My skills as a customer support executive

That good communication gives me the feeling that there is mutual trust and respect in the workplace. For me, this largely contributes to my job satisfaction. The same goes for the positive interaction between my supervisor and me. Good feedback is necessary because the job does require some stress relief. Problems should be analysed efficiently right away and handled as soon as possible. Language skills also play a big role in this. On a day-to-day basis, my knowledge of Dutch, French and English are an advantage.

Why I love doing what I do

Even though I've only just started this job, I already have the impression that I've learned a lot. I performed tasks in the first month that I had never done before, such as reporting during a presentation. An exciting moment, but above all a very instructive experience. One of the big reasons I chose to work in this field. In my previous position, I lacked growth potential. I can't complain about that anymore today. Although I don't have the ambition to become a manager myself, and therefore don't necessarily want to grow vertically, I am convinced that in this job I'll be able to continue to develop myself horizontally and gain new experiences all the time. That was exactly what I was looking for. A match I owe to Bright Plus, an HR service provider that truly listens to your needs and desires and settles for nothing less than the perfect match.
